Completely handsewn and one of a kind embroidered cuff with apliccations of fabric, lace, sequins, beads, brass filigrees, etc. Lined with burgundy silk; ties with a simple lace on the wrist.
I love encrusted, hyper-baroque pieces; they take time, patience, skills and, in many ways, they are constructed like a painting. This kind of pieces can transform the simplest outfit into a queen’s look! They’re decadent, luxurious and though the techniques used can be centuries old, this collages have a very modern appeal.
This piece measures 14,5 x 7 cms. Lace makes it suitable for all sizes.

When I discovered crazy quilting and bead/ribbon embroidery a couple of years ago, thanks to the Internet, I used to look those amazingly detailed pieces in awe and thought “I will never accomplish this :( ” – though I have grown in a family of sewers, I was forced to embroider at school, hideous pieces of course, and had really grown to hate embroidery. Seeing those amazing collages on the web brought back the enjoyment to sewing and though the first tries were very disappointing, slowly I felt that my hands were more and more skilled, and that I was more satisfied with every new piece. It started to feel like painting, gathering bits of fabric, lace and ribbon and constructing the pieces carefully and slowly. At this moment, though I still have so much to learn, I can show and sell my embroidered pieces without feeling ashamed LOL!
It could be I’m growing older, but as time goes by I feel more and more attracted to complicate pieces that need lots of time to be finished. Every time I finish a piece, I’m already thinking about the next one! I love researching, studying and finding new challenges – the feeling that I still have so much to learn is so exciting!

Hi my dear! I see you are now “infected” of embroidering, lol! I know that obsession of collecting small fabric pieces and “painting” with them!
The purple luxurious cuff is very beautiful! I love your sense of color- elegant!
You know, I did hate too embroidering at school and that was the reason I did not want to see a needle many years. Must feel free and enjoy what you are doing, to create!
Thank you for such a wonderful feature and acknowledgement at your blog!
My dearest, it is my pleasure to acknowledge such an amazing talent as yours :) .
Yes I’m seriously infected! Working for the costume business have put my needles back to work! I’m very glad that you like this piece – when I first saw your work and thought it was the most beautiful thing I had seen in ages, I never thought one day I’d count you as a sister. I’m really lucky!
