A handmade sigil, hand-drawn by me in color pencils on fine arts paper. The sigil was scanned and then the full page layout was made by me in Photoshop CS.
The sigil shows the God and the Goddess, depicted as the Sun and the Moon on the day of the solstice. The line in theban alphabet above them reads “In Perfect Love And Perfect Trust”, which is a salutation that is part of the Wicca rite, but that every Pagan knows and uses. I chose it because I thought it was a beautiful symbol of this marriage of the male and female energies.
Below the couple, a wreath of Ivy, red roses and rosemary symbolizes marriage too, as they are plants that are used in bridal wreaths in many world cultures. Ivy is a symbol of connection; the rose a symbol of passion and purity, and rosemary a symbol of fertility and luck.
This could be a wonderful illustration to place right before your Summer Solstice rites and spells, or could be simply printed and hung on your altar – this image can be specially beneficial to those that are looking for love.
You can purchase this downloadable file at The Hoodoo Shop.

What a beautiful image.
I find that all too often the same pagan images are passed around (and around and around) with very little new visual input.
This is a lovely interpretation of Summer Solstice. Just lovely.
Are you willing to sell prints of this? You could scan and print nice 8×10s perhaps.
Thanks Katie, you are too sweet!!!
Selling prints from Spain to the US takes very high shipping charges, that’s why I sell the file as a download, so you can have it in your computer and print it yourself (or have it made) by a faction of the cost of a print sent from here.
Thanks a lot for your interest!
