The Tarot evening was as crazy as expected, considering the veil between this world and the world of Spirits is getting thinner by the minute. I had to answer many absurd questions and one particular consultant almost had me turning into an Evil Witch after she (ignorantly) tried to convince me that Witchcraft is not a science – if there is a discussion about Witchcraft that burns me, is that one! My husband said that I didn’t look angry (20 years doing this must help) but believe, I was boiling LOL… thank the Goddess that the reading was short.
On the other hand, I had the pleasure of doing three readings for customers coming from the island of Las Palmas! To think that those three lovely women made the effort to take a ship and cross the sea just to have their readings, is quite a honour! They were so fun and excited as three girls on Christmas – they really made my anger disappear and they were the perfect finish to the Tarot night (because it was half past midnight by then).
We have been asked to do another Tarot Evening on Saturday at the Tea Bar. We were going to be there anyway as they will be having a Halloween Party, so we have accepted. Since the party does not start until 10:00 pm, I will have four hours of work before the party starts. There will be a drag-queen show at midnight, performed by my awesome friend (and doll collector) Farinelli, one of the most talented drags I’ve seen in a long time. There will be pics for sure!
Today I’m taking the day off. After so many readings my brain is blank LOL! Some crafting and a walk with the dogs should bring this Witch back to normal :).

Oh Karo enjoy your day querida, you deserve it! Sorry about your ‘scientific’ reading (sorry couldn’t help myself) don’t hex me ;(
So you are going to a drag party for Halloween, huh? I’m going to El Museo del Barrio in NYC, to see El Carnaval al Dia de los Muertos. I’ve never been, but it seems that they go all out on the day of the dead. I’ll try to get some good pics too and I can’t wait to see yours.
The Tea Bar where I make my readings is a gay-friendly place, so it’s not exactly a drag party – the drag queen is the guest star of the show actually. I have read about the Museo and its day of the dead party – sounds terrific, have a wonderful time querida mía!
