After much thought, I have decided that since I am starting to answer the same points over and over, the discussion on the previous post is closed. No more comments will be approved.
It was never my intention to start such debate – my point was to inform customers of my point of view about the situations I find on Etsy every day, because I want my customers to know the difference between real and wannabe Witches when they waste their hard-earned money on online shops. I am quite surprised by many of the responses I’ve got, and of the feelings that this post has awakened. I sincerely regret writing that post – not because I regret what I wrote (which I don’t), but because I am not interested in starting polemics. From now on, I will stick to pretty pictures and pretty posts, and will keep my opinions to myself. I’m quite fine with that, because I have never felt the need to discuss my personal opinions on Witchcraft and the “witchy business” online. It would be easier to simply delete the post and its comments, but I won’t: I think that would be very disrespectful to myself and to everyone who has commented on it.
I am not a politically correct Witch and I will never be. I am not a guru, or a leader, or a teacher. I couldn’t care less about what others think of me and my work. If you don’t like my words or my attitude, there are many blogs around to follow: take a look at my blogroll – though you may find several politically incorrect Witches there too. They’re my favourite kind.
For one awful moment I thought you were going to say you were going to close the shop!! Just reviving myself now with strong coffee… All love… G xx

Carolina, I discovered your blog a year ago. I love your blog because of the topics you discuss. I believe we grow spiritually when our views our challenged. I like your pretty pictures too though.

Those are more than just pretty pictures. They are works of art! With a few clicks of my computer mouse I can transform my workaday view from endless email and office buildings to a beautiful, colorful magick garden in the Canary Islands. :-)

Yes, ma’am, keep doing the hoodoo that you do! It’s what got me here, reading what you have to say. I do enjoy those even more than the pretty posts, but I also understand the need to keep politics to a minimum for health and sanity alike!
That’s why I talk so shallowly on my blog, informative and personal, but not really putting myself all the way out there in opinion-land for dissection and commentary.

I love all of your posts and value your opinion over the time I have been reading your blog I have learned so much. You shouldn’t let other people hide your opinions and knowledge because people like me lose out. I know next to nothing about hoodoo, voodoo, etc. except that some of my ancestors practiced a form of it and thus I find it intriguing.
Also PLEASE be politically INcorrect, people try to be so correct that they lose sight of what really matters and what is going on.
This is just my opinion but *shrugs*
