We just arrived from the hospital, and I wanted to let you all know that our friend has passed the surgery without any complication, and even though she still has a tough recovery ahead, she is as ok as it is to be expected. We could only see her a few minutes after a wait of more than 10 hours, but she was awake and at least we could let her know how much we love her.
Also, I wanted to send a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who have been sending messages, praying and setting candles for her. I have been showing every message and pic to her, and I will continue to do so when she comes back, most likely on Tuesday. I am quite sure your positive energy and prayers have definitely helped!!!
Hopefully tomorrow she will be taken to a room (she’s at the post-operatory room for the night), so we’ll be there all day, but I wanted to give you a quick update before getting a huge shower to scrub off the hospital smell and crash into bed until tomorrow.
