In the past weeks, we have received quite a few pics from our customers of their House Of Eleggua items. We have such tasteful, amazing customers, that make our artwork look better with their magnificent choices! Today, the blog is yours, because we want to feature YOU!

The Brujeria Ornament, that was adopted by our dear Louise from USA;

A drawing of Saint Michael (sorry, no prints will be made of it), purchased by one of our patrons, K. in USA;

And her gorgeous Day Of The Dead altar, featuring several items made by us. I am madly in love with it!

Another of our patrons, Serah in Australia, published this pic of her framed Hecate print on her Tubmlr site – perfect!

Note – we would like to make this a regular feature, so if you want to show off your space, we will feature it, as long as it contains at least one item that we have created. Please send pics to magickshop (at) gmail.com. We will protect your privacy completely if you want to, but if you have a blog/web/shop and want to send us the link, please do so, we will be very glad to add it.

Today it was a regular shop-filled day. Orders to ship, candle work to make, listing a new bunch of items at our Zibbet shop(we’re almost done!) and replying a ton of emails as usual :). The evening was for visiting our friend who owns the Tea Bar where I make my readings, since we had to discuss a few details of the yearly Tarot reading session I make on their Halloween events. This place is our second home, so we helped him get the place ready for opening and shared a coffee as there was little work today.

His boyfriend has been loving our herbal products and soaps, and sent us this lovely bottle of honey liquor from his recent trip to the mainland. The liquor will be shared between Fernando and our altars; the bottle is for the Witch ;).

This little friend, most likely sent by Freya, has been coming every day to drink and eat from the cat food we leave outside our door. Today, he was confident enough to come and eat inside, so he got some extra treats.

… that this blog’s readers are among the most awesome people in the universe? I know I have, and today I have to say it again. Completely out of the blue, a reader offered to send us a whole box containing parts of several oak trees – the oak tree doesn’t grow here, so it is such a precious gift for us herb lovers! She has spoiled us with many other surprises, that I will keep for myself ;). Right now they are finishing drying on the witchy room, and soon they will be part of mojos, herbal healing and of course lots of magick.

A customer made a very generous donation in name of our recently deceased dog Orson to the White Muzzle Fund, a shelter that focuses on giving abandoned senior dogs the care and love they deserve. We are so, so grateful for this selfless gift!!! To honour this gesture, Fernando made his absolutely awesome candied popcorn to be offered to Babalu Aye, Orisha of healing, who is represented as Saint Lazarus with two dogs and is his protector. Popcorn, if you didn’t know, is Babalu Aye’s favourite food. Sadly, our camera batteries died and I couldn’t take a picture of the offering before we took it to a very special place for him: a children’s hospital.

These pics are from the first book that I got published in, Voodoo In New Orleans by Stephen Person, published by Bearport Publishing. They contacted me before the summer to purchase one of my pictures (the gris-gris bag on the second pic) and their lovely editor promised to send a complimentary copy in the Fall, when the book was supposed to come out. I know by other online friends who have published work that publishing dates can delay for years, but this time it wasn’t so! I got my copy this morning and here it is :D. I am very glad it was added on the “From Africa To New Orleans” section for obvious reasons.

First, the health update:
Though I am feeling much better and almost back to normal work, I will be going through a medical procedure in a couple of weeks – it won’t be a big thing but I am already highly medicated to get ready for the operation, so I will deactivating all the Tarot and Spellwork listings today, and they won’t be back until I’m off medication; in all honesty, I do not have the strength to make readings and/or spells, and I need all the energy I have right now for myself. When I know the date of the procedure, I will inform you because the shop will be on vacation for a couple of days while I recover. Until then, the shop will stay open and all orders and convos will be attended so contact me if you need it!

Now, on to the fun stuff!

We would like to wish the happiest Mabon ever to all our readers, friends and customers worldwide – you are the best!!! May these Sacred days fill you with joy, balance and abundance!!!

Without further ado, we are very happy to annouce that the winner of our Mabon giveaway is Donna Lang – congratulations!!! Please send me your mail address to magickshop (at) gmail.com and your gift will be shipped in no time :).

Also to celebrate this day, we are starting a new promotion! With every purchase at our shop, and until supplies last, we are giving a way a tea bag of our latest herbal tea – we have named it Aphrodite Tea because it is a custom recipe for women’s health and balance. Great for PMS, menstruation pain, hormonal balance and general Goddess-like wellness. It contains herbs like Damiana, Horsetail, Nettle, and many others that I’m keeping secret ;). We are preparing several herbal teas for our local customers that soon will be added to the shop – since I give my Tarot readings at a Tea Bar, many of our customers are tea gourmets that really appreciate organic herbs and artisan herbalism.
